Okay, so imagine this. You’re 76, you’re at your home and you are in the kitchen. You turn on the radio, and a voice says ‘We’re going back decades, to 2011, see if you can remember these ones’; and then you hear it. You stop, and all the memories start flashing back to you. The first concert you went to, the first book signing you queued at for hours to go to, when you waited in the cold just to see a glimpse of them. You remember sticking photos of them all over your walls, and imagined marrying them one day. You remember the video diaries which you laughed at for hours, and the live performances which brought you to tears. You’ll remember wanting to meet them so badly, even if it is just a photo or a quick hello. And then… you freeze. Everything is coming back to you, every little detail. And you begin to cry; a tear down the side of your cheek, just remembering all of the memories that brought you so much happiness. And at the end, you’ll remember how much they actually meant to you, and you will never, ever forget them.
this gave me chills
Crying over here.
